In Nati’s Tiles studio, I realize my own ideas and ceramic fantasies and individual customer orders. One and the other is often intertwined, and this way the studio develops from year to year and my experience and skills increase.
I use a variety of modeling techniques, making rolled clay slices, sometimes the method of rolling rolls, rolling on a potter’s wheel. It all depends on what exactly is creating at the moment.
I am inspired by proven patterns, mostly Portuguese, Italian and Cuban traditional tiles. I am modifying these patterns and the technique of applying them. My decors with traditional patterns are imprinted not just painted.
However, what impresses the most influence on my creativity is nature.
